Lots of you must have known (and probably love) The Ordinary Hyaluronic 2% + B5. It's one of their fave products.

Sadly, THIS BREAK. ME. OUT. I didn't know what the hell was wrong with my skin. How could something that liked by lots of people caused breakouts on me. But after did more searching, apparently there are a lot of people -someone even said more than half ppl who tried it- experienced the same thing. I think I should change my inquiry to "productxxx breakout" instead of "productxxx review" from now on lol.

Back to the point, my breakout is probably caused by the Hyaluronic Acid Serum isn't working the way like The Ordinary claimed: "This formula uses three forms of HA with varying molecular weights, as well as an HA crosspolymer, to offer multi-depth hydration and visible plumping without drawing water out of the skin solely to improve temporary surface hydration." Why? I've tried it for 1 month+1w when the weather gets colder, but my skin felt and looked even more dull and drier, it felt thirsty. Perhaps because the air is too dry (but then again, I won't need a hydration booster when it's humid enough). Because it got more dehydrated than it already was, it became even more sensitive.. hence the breakouts happened.

I still have 2 other products that I bought from TO, but honestly afraid to try again 😥 their formulation just might not be suitable for my complicated skin.
