Happy weekend & happy 1 year in 🇳🇿 for my self. Cant believe I’m able to versatile to live in here. Ups and downs, ofc. ⁣⁣During my stay, I’ve met lot of interesting and warm hearted people. Two of them are Dora @vertigourbanimage and @janettesmithies16 who flew from Invercargill for holiday trip. I was so lucky to bumped into this two when we had Hobbiton tour. Fortunately, the tour only 3 of us with Mike as our tour leader. It feels like exclusive. Actually I bought the ticket a night before. I want to go there but still unsure that moment. ⁣⁣With this situation, it’s really easy to get a ticket to Hobbiton. Before rona, it will take you a month to book. The trip was unforgettable. I was pretty chuffed with the movie set of #LOTR. It feels magical yet surreal. I feel like in fantasy. ⁣⁣Hobitton was built on Alexander farm, a stunning 1,250 acre sheep farm in the heart of the Waikato. In March 1999 the crew began the nine month quest to bring the ideas for Hobbiton to fruition, help was provided by the New Zealand Army, and soon 39 temporary Hobbit Holes™ were scattered across the 12 acre plot used for the set. ⁣⁣It feels devastated when Mike told us that they need to laid off half of employees there. “Luckily, we still have visitors like you, guys. To keep us going,” said Mike. My heart broken. This pandemic really hit people. Lot of people losing their jobs. Now they only know about how to survive. The fact, we are safe here. The ugly truth is we are dying inside. ⁣⁣It was memorable trip for me. Not just because the beauty of scenery The Shire. But also the kindness of people. Dora and Jeanette are very warm and welcome. They even invite me to come to Invercargill if I have a chance and catch up with them. I’m still believe when we do good, you’ll get a good thing in return.
