Previously, I never liked Korean skincare since they always broke me out due to the intense hydration they offer; in the end all of that moisture ended up clogging my pores hence more zits coming out. However, as they expand their product selections to cater oily skin as well, it turns out that these Korean skin care are amazing.

My love for Korean skin care begun with @neogendermalogy.id, it was the first K-skin care that doesn’t break me out. The rule of thumb is, I do well with K-skin care that combines western ingredients (natural essential oils and acids) as well as asian ingredients like arbutin, HA, and the more recent: cica!

These 3 products have been helping to soothe redness on my skin while reducing new pimples and help to heal the current ones:
1. @drjart #Cicapair cream. Absolutely godsend. This moisturizer offers hydration while healing the pimples as well. The texture is thick but surprisingly it doesn’t feel thick after I spread and massage it into my skin. It has a nice faint herbal scent. I use this as both day and night moisturizer. (50ml for IDR 399,000).

2. @skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica 100. It’s basically an ampoule/essence containing 100% cica. Feels nice on skin and not heavy. Helps to reduce redness as well. I use this as night essence along with @blithecosmetic Vital Treatment 5 Energy Roots. Texture is runny and has no scent. (100ml for IDR200,000)

3. @neogendermalogy.id Cica Pad. It’s basically mild exfoliating pads containing cica essence. I use this as morning essence, also along with Blithe VT. At first, I thought this is a toner but actually it’s an essence pad! It’s mild enough to be used daily, I used it in the morning since at night I already use exfoliating toner. One tub contains 90 pads, enough for 3 months if you use one pad daily. I don’t know how much this retails for since it’s given for me by @neogendermalogy.id, thank you😘 this pad also doesn’t have any scent.
