In 2013 I visited Museum Fair in my university.. I saw a pretty long piece of batik cloth. The guide caught the awe look in my eyes. She told me that cloth is use in traditional wedding by Javanese Royal. Then she told me to pick a bookmark. I picked 'Sigar Menjangan' eyebrow shaped in deer antler. She began explain the meaning from head to toe about the brides attire. I was fascinated by how the ancestor of javanese not only picked this attire because it's pretty but also symbolization of their wishes for prosperity and harmony in marriage.
Ever since I always dream to be able to dressing the javanese bride. So last July I follow my dream and start to learn how to Paes (Javanese Bridal Makeup) and dress the brides.
I'm proud that I'm being one of agent to preserved this beautiful tradition.
I'm so thankful for my family, teachers and friends that help me in so many ways.
