Coping with trauma takes so much more energy and life-force than i realize. It likes I am not in the mood of doing anything, but internally I am doing so much work. It takes energy to heal.
It takes energy to survive.
It takes energy to cope.
Somehow the situation gives me long-pause, to do the things i usually do.

However, as time has passed, I have learned to be grateful for all the things that brought me through. Survival sometimes requires change. Often, it demands it.

What i need, what i desire, what i can tolerate, what i seek out might be changed now. Taking care of myself is most important.
